- Publishing research reports based on research activities of the Research Analyst.
- Providing independent, unbiased views on securities.
- Offering unbiased recommendations and disclosing the financial interests in recommended securities.
- Providing research recommendations based on analysis of publicly available information and known observations.
- Conducting annual audit.
- Ensuring that all advertisements are in adherence to the provisions of the Advertisement Code for Research Analysts.
- Maintaining records of interactions with all clients, including prospective clients, where any conversation related to research services has taken place.
Rights of investors
- Right to privacy and confidentiality.
- Right to transparent practices.
- Right to fair and equitable treatment.
- Right to adequate information.
- Right to initial and continuing disclosure, including the right to receive information on all statutory and regulatory disclosures.
- Right to fair and true advertisement.
- Right to awareness about service parameters and turnaround times for services and grievance redressal.
- Right to be heard and to satisfactory grievance redressal in a time-bound manner.
- Right to have timely redressal.
- Right to exit from a financial product or service in accordance with the terms of the service agreement.
- Right to receive clear guidance and caution notices when dealing in complex and high-risk financial products and services.
- Additional rights for vulnerable consumers, including access to services in a suitable manner.
- Right to provide feedback on financial products and services used.
- Right against coercive, unfair and one-sided clauses in financial agreements.
Expectations from investors (responsibilities)
Do's
- Always deal with SEBI registered Research Analysts.
- Ensure that the Research Analyst has a valid registration certificate; check the SEBI registration number on the SEBI website (https://www.sebi.gov.in).
- Always pay attention to the disclosures made in research reports before investing.
- Pay fees only through banking channels and maintain duly signed receipts mentioning the details of your payments.
- Before buying securities or applying in a public offer, check the research recommendation provided by your Research Analyst.
- Ask all relevant questions and clear your doubts with your Research Analyst before acting on a recommendation.
- Seek clarifications and guidance on research recommendations from your Research Analyst, especially for complex and high-risk products.
- Understand the risk associated with investing in securities markets; there are no guaranteed returns.
- Inform SEBI about any Research Analyst offering assured or guaranteed returns.
Don'ts
- Do not provide funds for investment to the Research Analyst.
- Do not fall prey to luring advertisements or market rumours.
- Do not get attracted to limited-period discounts or other incentives, gifts, etc. offered by a Research Analyst.
- Do not share login credentials and passwords of your trading, demat and bank accounts with the Research Analyst.
Grievance redressal mechanism
- Investors can lodge a complaint with the Research Analyst (Mehul Pravinbhai Jiyani) at jiyani02@gmail.com / +91 94941 10909. The Research Analyst endeavours to resolve complaints within 21 days and in any case within 30 days of receipt.
- If unresolved, lodge a complaint on SEBI SCORES (https://scores.sebi.gov.in). Complaints are first handled by the designated body (BSE / RAASB) and may be escalated to SEBI.
- If still not satisfied, initiate dispute resolution through SMART ODR (https://smartodr.in).
